How to find us
Private cars are forbidden in the southern archipelago. You get to Brännö by taking the ferry from the ferry terminal Saltholmen. Once you get to the island, you have to walk, bicycle or go by ashtray moped.
Getting from the boat to the Inn
It is a pleasant walk through the old village from the ferry terminals to the Inn. We are situated at Husviksvägen From the ferry terminals, just follow the main road Rödstensvägen/Husviksvägen. We are sitauted in the middle of the island. From Brännö Rödsten it&#;s a distance of km, which takes approximately 15 minutes to walk.
Boats and tickets
The ferries leave Saltholmen for Brännö almost every hour, from early morning to late night. There are two ferry stops on the island, Rödsten and Husvik.
Rödsten is the most heavily trafficated. The ferry ride takes about twenty minutes and makes one or two stops at Asperö.
The ride to Husvik takes about fifty minutes and the ferry stops at several islands, including Köpstadsö and Styrsö.
The tram/bus ticket is also valid on the ferry. You can buy your ticket at the Västtrafik service station on Saltholmen or from the boatsman on the ferry. Bank

Brännö is a lively island in the southern part of Gothenburgs archipelago with just over inhabitants. Different to the other islands, it has relied on farming, piloting boats and shipping as its main sources of income.
Brännö brygga and amazing views
Lasse Dahlqvist, a ballad composer, lived on Brännö and made the island famous through his ballads. If you want to experience the traditional summer dances, jump off the ferry at Husvik on the soutwestern coast. Climb the cliffs to the old pilot lookout, the island&#;s highest point, and enjoy amazing views over Vinga and the harbour entrance. The narrow roads and small wooden houses add to the island&#;s old-fashioned charm.
Untouched nature and salty swimming spots
You can reach the neighbouring island Galterö by a small bridge. Out here, in what used to be a military area, you will find a diverse birdlife and untouched nature. Kayaking is popular here, and in the summer you will find sheep grazing. There are plenty of bathing spots on the island, for instance at Ramsdal, close to Husvik, where you will find a child-friendly beach with cliffs, a diving tower and rest rooms. Brännö är ett levande skärgårdsö i södra delen från Göteborgs ögrupp med cirka bofasta invånare. Sommargästerna började inta ön på talet och numera är pendlarna i genomskinlig majoritet. Brännö skiljer sig från dem andra öarna i ögrupp tack vare jordbruket, lots-historien, tullarna samt sjöfarten likt har stått för den huvudsakliga försörjningen.
Brännö brygga samt lotsutkiken
Viskompositören Lasse Dahlqvist besitter gjort ön känd genom sina visor. Vill ni uppleva den klassiska dansen på Brännö brygga tar du båten till Husvik på sydvästra sidan. ifrån berget nära den gamla lotsutkiken, vid öns högsta punkt, besitter du utsikt från Vinga till inloppet till götet. De små husen samt de smala vägarna ger ön en gammaldags intryck.
Orörd natur och salta bad
Via enstaka smal landförbindelse går detta att vandra över mot fantastiska Galterö. Här finns ett rikt fågelliv samt en underbar natur. gäst paddlar gärna över ifrån Brännö samt det existerar enkelt för att ta upp kajaken vid stränderna nära Galterös vikar. Badplatser finns detta gott ifall på ön. Vid Ramsdals badplats, nära Husvik finns en barnvänlig strand tillsammans med klippor samt hopptorn samt toaletter. ifrån Rödsten existerar det cirka en kilometer till badplatsen Gröna Vik. H
