Clas Ohlson launches new store format in London
The new store fryst vatten the first to present the product range in a new way, and in substantially less space that a typical Clas Ohlson store, while the width of the offering is maintained. The store has more digital solutions, more inspiring elements and customers have access to the full range of products via customer terminals. This will also be Clas Ohlson's first store to offer so-called Click & Collect, i.e. the ability to order online and pick up in store. This is now also being introduced in all Clas Ohlson’s stores in the UK.
”We are constantly striving to become more betydelsefull and accessible in our offering and in the customer meeting. With this new, smaller store format, we can offer a full product range in a much smaller space which will help us to be more flexible when expanding our store network,” says Peter Jelkeby, Vice President of Clas Ohlson.
The new store format is a complement to existing larger stores and part of the company's omni-channel strategy. Clas Ohlson plans for another couple of stores in the new small store format in the first evaluation phase.

Clas Ohlson opens new store in Ealing, London, UK
During the /16 financial year, Clas Ohlson plans to establish a total of new stores. The total number of future store establishments under contract is Clas Ohlson currently offers online shopping in all its markets and has a total of stores, of which 81 are situated in Sweden, 73 in Norway, 32 in Finland, 12 in the UK and a franchise store in Dubai.

Clas Ohlson’s new store in Ealing has now opened
The new Clas Ohlson store in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre is constructed in Clas Ohlson’s new smaller store format where omni channel and interaction between stores and e-commerce is more accessible for customers.
“We have now opened this fantastic store in Ealingand become increasingly available to our customers. Our staff did a great job getting the store ready for the grand opening and we are delighted that we were able to welcome so many new customers to the store,” says Mark Gregory, Country Manager UK at Clas Ohlson.
The store in Ealing has a retail space of approximately square meters and a catchment area of approximately 85, inhabitants. Following the store opening in Ealing, Clas Ohlson has e-commerce and stores and in five markets, of which 84 in Sweden, 74 in Norway, 34 in Finland, 13 in the UK and one franchise store in Dubai.
In financial year /16, Clas Ohlson plans to establish new stores. So far eight new stores have been opened (net) and the number of future stores contracted amounts to seven.
